Huzzah!

Well, I finally did it . . . I finally entered the 21st century, albeit nine years after the fact (I’m sorry, but 2010 is the last year of this decade, not the first year of the next one . . . count to ten and tell me where you end up). I finally started a blog. As with all things electronic and internet-y in nature, it is a very fluid, subject-to-constant-change, work in progress. I’m still learning how to make WordPress dance to my every whim and still contemplating all the ways in which I can subject the world at large to my mental gymnastics, but even with all that uncertainty, I’ve dived right in.
So, what can you expect to read here? Your guess is as good as mine. Well, that’s not completely accurate; I have a fairly good idea, given my very special, one-on-one personal relationship with what I think about. But I won’t always know what I’m going to post until it’s time to post it. In any event, expect to read about my thoughts and opinions on everything that concerns me as I stride boldly through what remains of my life, from the fine art of writing fiction for a living to figuring out how to most effectively homeschool my three children, and everything in between. I’m a writer, an editor, a game designer and player, a parent, an educator, a husband, a homeowner, and most importantly, a dreamer, so I should have quite a bit to talk about. If it turns out I don’t, then I’m probably in the wrong business.
